Hello and a warm welcome to GW4DWN,

I was licenced on March 26th 1975 with the call and had no problem with the CW because I had great opportunities with the CW from the age of 10.

Licencee and holder of GW4DWN Amateur Radio Station in Neath and Port Talbot Picture was taken in: The Eagle and Child is a pub in St Giles’ Street, Oxford, England which is owned by St. John’s College, Oxford.  The pub had been part of an endowment belonging to University College since the 17th century. It has associations with the Inklings writers’ group which included J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis.”

I was very active for many years until I found a great woman soon to become my wife had 2 children which then became the focal point in my life, resulting in QRT for about 18 years.

I made a come back to the radio about 6 years ago being 2011 and have been enjoying since, my main operating frequency is 7.195 MHZ and have many friends join in there, with so many to mention such as Bob EI8HL Waterford, Jo GI0OXG Dundrum IE Ere.
